Just wanted to say I'm working on the battle theme for the nintendo chapter.
It's gonna be a remix of Jake's theme from Advance Wars DS.
I have no internet at the moment and have to upload it and shit from the library or my friend's house so it'll be a while before I even get it on here.
Just to let y'all know.

Wait...hold on a second there. Does it really necessarily need to be a single theme? Can't different battles in different locations of the Nintendo kingdom have their own battle themes as well? Like I said, it would make the game extremely memorable to actually have that much work put into it. Don't get me wrong, Jake's theme seems like a good idea, but still, please don't consider it the battle theme for the whole chapter yet. And besides, we aren't exactly having a specific chapter for each kingdom anymore, remember? We'll be switching between kingdoms a few times per chapter, remember when we discussed that? Additionally, if by "Nintendo Chapter" you're actually referring to the beginning chapter that covers the Bit Wars, then we should be using music from games of that era, nothing that came later, really.

This actually got me thinking, how about battle music is done Mother-style where it's different per enemy. That way we could have a large variety of battle themes.
Also, I fucking love dynamic music. when a game has it it makes me cum. Simple as that.
We need to incorporate it in some way.
One idea I had was when you're low on health, the music would be a little distorted and in boss battles when the boss's health is low it adds a layer or two to the song to make it sound more intense and triumphant.

I have pretty much the same idea. Except I was mainly thinking that the battle music could be different for each area of the game, rather than simply the enemy. And the stuff about boss music changing over time like that is a very good idea.

I was thinking we could also change the music depending on events of the story. Like say a character dies and they were really close to one or all of the party members. We could have it so the battle music is slower and more melancholic rendition.
